Welcome to the Naoero Law Society

The Naoero Law Society (NLS) is the professional body representing legal practitioners in the Republic of Naoero. Established under Part 8 of the Legal Practitioners Act 2019, the Society promotes the integrity, independence, and excellence of the legal profession while upholding the rule of law and improving access to justice. As the official voice of the legal community in Naoero, the Society works closely with the judiciary, government agencies, and regional partners to strengthen the justice sector, ensure ethical legal practice, and enhance access to legal resources and education.

To promote the rule of law, uphold the integrity of the legal profession, advocate for the interests of our members, and contribute to the development of a just and equitable society in Nauru.
